Saber alter joins me for Fat Tuesday

Woohoo! Saber showed up on a snowy fat Tuesday with her black goth
dress and a bag full of burgers! I've been trying to get one for a
while and almost gave in to getting a fake but luckily I found a
seller and after a long travel, she's finally here!
This is just a quick little shot cuz I couldn't wait. I'll have to do
a real shoot soon. Maybe on top of an altar of burgers :p
I love all figures that are related to food somehow. Horo with apples,
Konata with chocolate cornet, Saber with her bowl of rice, Shana with
her melon pan. Any other suggestions?

Speaking of figure with food items, there's Tsukimiya Ayu from the hit galge Kanon. She's holding a half-eaten taiyaki on one hand and a bag of taiyaki on the other hand.

There is also Minase Akiko from the same game. She's holding her killer jam behind her. No one quite knows what's in her special jam. Then again, no one seems to know where her husband is either. Uh-oh, I'm getting a bad feeling about this.

Ooo Thank you for the figure info. Tsukimiya Ayu is really cute but of course hard to get since its an older figure. I'm really tempted to get the Minase Akiko now. Figure is good, not great but she has food AND her cat looks just like my cat. Very dangerous. >_<

Just got a message from a friend today who bought that figure on Ebay recently...or what he thought was that figure. What he got was a bootleg recast that apparently was painted solid grey except for the face and looks like crap.
Oh wow that really sucks. I know those auctions sometimes use the original photos instead of real ones but I didnt think they would leave items uncolored.
From what he said, it wasn't so much that it was uncolored as it was painted a solid grey intentionally from the neck down. I've yet to see a picture of it yet, but I think he's going to file a claim with ebay. Is it wrong I kind of want to buy it off of him? It sounds so horrible I want to put it next to the normal Saber Alter figure on the shelf :3

Are you going to just make a Saber gallery of horror(-ble) fakes?
If it was cheap enough I'd be tempted to buy fakes to repaint/modify. I shall have an army of Nendoroid Sabers in each and very variation when I have the time to do all the painting/sculpting.
On a side note: Excellent Cosplay.
