DD Nia and Yoko
My 3rd and 4th dollfies. Nia arrived back in January and Yoko arrived earlier this month, both purchased through YJA.
The Good News: since the exchange rate very good at the time, I managed to purchase both of them at a cheaper price than when they were released (not much cheaper, but cheaper none the less).
The Bad news: Yoko's ponytail fell off. Not exactly sure what happened, but before I knew it, I saw the ponytail coming apart from the wig.
Looks like the hair from the top of the wig weaves into that black wiring, which wasn't very secure. I found some help in this post and made use of some bathroom caulk to hold the hair back together. As for the ponytail, I have no idea to secure it so right now it just sits over top of the stub.
Good as new? Not really, but good enough.
Luckily there were no problems with Nia. The Hoodie and wig were included with Nia, so I didn't need to purchase them separately.

Nia has claimed Nendo Yoko for herself.
Everyone has different experience with the Yoko wig. Some have had bald spots, some fallen a part.
Part of the reason I want to get another for my Yoko, so I can put her default away for safe keeping =P

I got one yoko wig, right now seem nothing happened, maybe I seldom use. As the pics I seen, you repair the wig quite well, hope you can find a way to secure. If you mind the integrity, get another one from YJ. For me I got 2 kanu wig XD, one for keeping, one for normal use.

Ugh what a scary story! Good thing you found a way to put her back together. Looks like a pretty good repair. My Yoko wig came with a few small bald spots, the hair wasn't combed back properly everywhere. At least the bald sports are not in very noticeable areas. I think Yoko's hair style was a big challenge for Volks (maybe too much challenge)

A similar thing happened to one of my Dollfie wigs, the pony tail kept falling off so i sewed it down on to the base of the wig.
Congrats on your girls! And yay stubbing! Glad it helped someone. I *think* the "tail" weft is supposed to get sewn into the stub, but I'm not entirely sure.

It's the first time I've seen an owner with both Nia and Yoko. I really love them. Great Job.

Short haired Nia makes me squeal like crazy. She's so precious! This makes me want her even MORE now.
