Games: Aliens VS Predator
After downloading the demo on the PS3, i thought it would just another 'Meeeeh' game, but it turned out otherwise! Received an email from EB Games informing that AVP for the PS3/XboX/PC is finally out! The graphics are pretty neat, and the controls are simple to use.
What are the drawbacks? What else? Hoping around like crazy and scaling the walls in a spiral loop always make normal people dizzy, but for the experience gamers that perform Matrix Gun Fu moves in FPS games, this is cake!
Bayonetta is a pretty awesome game too, really keeps u on your toes, and its not of those games you can play half asleep. If your drowsy, ur just dead meat in that game. Bayonetta, in my opinion, has been a very good thing after Devil May Cry 2! Devil May Cry 3 and 4 just didnt have the kick anymore. If i was exposed to any more Dante, i would have turned gay! XD
Meganekko + Dual gun wielding = Hawtness! Managed to unlock 2 secret weapons and its pretty bad ass! Final Fantasy 12? What can i say, i really got distracted, but i should really finish the game really soon with FF13 coming out this year >_<
Time to warm up the PS3 and really get these games going ..

I tried the demo on the PC and it left avery bad impression on me =/ hows it been for u? AVP i mean?
well the Multiplayer demo was .. yech. But like the demo states its not the full complete version of the game. Never really got to play the Multiplayer Demo much. But the Single Player seems very nice. I been having a crack at it for like 3 hours till i got motion sickness from being an xenomorph >_< .. Simple controls to use tho. So anyone can play it.
lol that was the exact thing that turned me off. the ailens in MP. so disorienting esp the map i was given >.<

I saw those " Try N Save " Games at the EB Games store when i was vacationing in Aussieland , Wish We had one of those back in Malaysia . Good For PS3 owners because All Ps3 games can't be "copied" ^_^
If you trade in two games, you can get AVP for AUD15 =D Or was it AUD25.

Nah my TV is pretty average sized because i use it as my dual screen as well. Had a crazy housemate who decided to have a 20" monitor with a 40" TV beside him. He complained about how his 2nd TV was too big .. well .. i couldnt resist and told him 'I told u so' =)
I'm personally a huge fan of the Predetor franchise> Loved the bestial yet sophisticated nature of the character. Sadly, don't really care much for FPS games, thus leaving many of the AVP games out for me.
My favorite will always be the arcade version. Man, that AVP game was, and still is, awesome. (^.^)
You talking about the old school Capcom AVP game? Where you have 2 humans (guy and a chick) and 2 predators (a scout and a heavy)? I played that 2 player co-op game. Its a classic. Yeah AVP games have left some pretty bad gameplay memories when ppl just didnt play it well.
There were so many dedicated servers with Humans (ONLY) VS Aliens, or Predators (ONLY) VS Aliens, but never a 3 race death match. But the true thrill of playing the game is to play it 3 way and fight impossible odds and racking up the frag ratings >_<
One thing i admired about the AVP2 game, is how u made mortal FPSers scream when u take away their light and they have to really on ears to fight in the dark. Can't see? Then hope there is a predator nearby so u can lighten up the dark rooms with his glow in the dark ketchup! =D
bayonetta brings the old devil may cry feel back, its just epic
the 2-4 DMC weren't really kicking because is not directed by the original director
AVP eh, got to try this soon, btw, is queen available on MultiPplayer of AVP? XD (got to love bitch slapping a predator where it flew 10 foot by it LOL)
never tried multiplayer yet .. still doing the singleplayer missions >_<
Nice get. Although I wasnt too impressed with avp for some reason. I prolly need to give it a more thorough play through. I did enjoy bayonetta very much though. Like Devil May Cry with a female and every fetish available :]
the multiplayer leaves much to be desired coz aliens could get overpowered in multiplayer which leaves only marines and the preds to use. single player isnt all that as well. should have gotten bioshock 2 or something since it got rated well and youll get your moneys worth as well
already beat the SP campaign and it was pretty meh....
for AVP that is. Bioshock 2 i havent finished yet
I've heard that the single player is a bit average, and the only thing that really interests me about AVP shooters is playing the marine campaign.
Well, i think ima finish the game first and then trade it in for a new one =D
