PV Ranking has always been my favourite part because there are a lot of fun videos. I'm going to refrain from posting any MikuMikuDance (MMD) videos in case Delindil wants to post some for the Monthly MMD Ranking.
So since I've been behind on this, I've only found this next video recently.

If you're talking about the NicoNicoDouga embed then there's a button for it when you're making a new post. Pretty simple, just like the youtube embed.

In Nicosound, you click on the bottom right button that says: パソコンへ転送 and it'll prompt you for a file name to save it.

Umm,I've never used niconico vids before so I'm not sure.How do you play the video? Or do you need an account,'cause I clicked on the play button and nothing came out
Ideally when it's embedded on this site it shouldn't prompt you to login or anything. You've tried refresh a few times, right? Sometimes it can take a while depending on your connection.
Sorry, but while the file is "playing" I just get a black screen, no audio, and some occasional Kanji...
Nuts... I dunno what the problem is. I get that at Sankaku Complex too, but not here >_< Let's go ask Danny XD
Haha,looks like you have the same problem as me,kodama.I only see the words loading then a black screen just appears.Thought it was my computer
Maybe it's trying to install tracking cookies. I keep my linux box pretty well locked down...
Maybe that's part of it. NicoNico embed seems to be inconsistent on where it goes.
