My figma mods

This is my very first figma mod - Lacus Clyne - which is built from Figma Hatsune Miku, with the cloth and head of Gundam Seed Heroine's Lacus.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

The most difficult part of building this mod was.....by that time there were no figma with short sleeves released.....orz...I have to craft the arms of miku to this shape...

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

I also "recycled" the remaining part of Miku's sleeve to build the boot...

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

and also coloured all hands part and take this photo - pretend to be a real figma product XD XD

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

My second figma mod was a little modification of figma Shana.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

At first I am not quite used to the hair of figma shana.....so I decided to add an ahoge (アホ毛) on her head to made her looks like more close to those illustration that I have seen....The ahoge came from Konami's figurmate Shana.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

and also added a thin copper strap for Alastor (天壌の劫火) XD

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

After Black hair version of figma Shana released, I did a same treatment on her.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

I also changed her uniform to summer version by using Seto San's (瀬戸 燦 from 瀬戸の花嫁) arm.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

both red and black version are inter-changable :P

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

This is my latest pieces of mod - Saber and Rin Yukata Version. It is too difficult to use soft plastic sheets to make cloths, so I grap some japanese style cloth to make their Yukata.

Mouseover = load notes.
My figma mods

And this is a photo for gsc Wonderful Hobby Life for you 10. Thanks for reading and hope I could make more figma mods to share with you all.

    Dude, very nice. You are the inspiration that got me started in figma modding over a year ago. I've copied your process of making a figma Lacus and it's the best way to make that figma. Many thanks for inspiring a figma fan like me to have more fun with these figures.:)

    Man I would so buy a happy Tohsaka face from you if you sold those. I hate she only has a "yelling" and "looks serious" expressions.

    Great mods!

      Thanks lonecow! I broke my figma Rin Tohsaka's arm and hair at day one... so I got another box and craft on her original serious face and repaint her eye blow... I really hope Max Factory would release something like "school uniform" version and have more facial expressions included~~~!!

      Basically it is all made from figma miku and Bandai Seed Heroine. No extra parts were built from scratch.

    Those were just awesome. The detail and the thought that went into the planning of what to do, how to do it and to use it. Thinking of what can be improved and the physical skill into crafting the pieces is superb.

    Artistry, is real difficult thing to master, but in hard thought and skill, a person can take something of another to make it their own. That is why I think your work is of a high caliber.

      While I made my first mod, I know nothing about modeling and scratch building, so I just think hardly on the method to make it from existing parts, and so glad that I could finish them!!!
