My Amiami.com shopping experience

Posted by BatMouse [www]

So I shopped twice with Amiami.com this month because I got wind from Dannychoo.com that they are having a 50% EMS shipment promotion (Thanks Danny!). I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.

Firstly, they are very fast in processing my orders. The first shipment arrived in 5 days after payment is processed. Then I immediate ordered a second shipment because of the impressive turn around time. And guess what, the second shipment arrived in 4 days. Well I don't expect it to get shorter than that but that is pretty dawn good considering that I live in Vancouver.

Secondly, the items are very well packed in the shipping box and they arrived in pristine condition. I love the box art of Gunplas and I would be very sad of they arrived damaged.

If you are curious about the details of my shipments, please read more here and here.

Gunplas are very well packed. They use recyclable materials so I am not guilty of shipping with them.

The Gunplas are packed right in the middle. So well packed that nothing is damaged.

Here is what I got with my first shipment. A HG ReZEL and a MG GN-X. Looking forward to more Gundam 00 MG gunplas and Gundam Unicorn HG or MG gunplas :) By the way, have you watched Gundam Unicorn episode 1 yet?

    Oh nice I definitely love amiami sale prices and that 50% off shipping for this month was just icing on the cake. Cool Gunplas you got I just got my pre-order message for the 1/100 Red Astray from amiami yesterday so hopefully I can receive it as fast as you did because I've been waiting for that one for a while.

      I wonder how often they have sales? I think even without the 50% off shipping, I would still save some $$ compared to buying locally here. But the saving without promotion is not as spectacular. :)

        Their normal prices on most items blow pretty much every other online store out of the water.

          That is great to know :) I am surprised that they have 25% off on almost all gunplas they listed. And I came across one that is 55% off!

    How much was the shipping if it weren't for 50% off?

      The first shipment would have costed 3520 yen for shipping, the second shipment would have costed 3200 yen for shipping. Together, that saved more than a MG gunpla for me :)

      This is my first time shopping with Amiami. Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future. And I agree it is much much nicer than they have sales. Do you get stuff from them often?

    I live in Ottawa, and it took less than a week to get my Mobip Mio to show up. As well, like your's it was well boxed with only a few small ding marks on the outside package to show for it's trip half way around the world.
    :) Total was about $39.00CDN with shipping.

    When I saw this post I was worried that you'd experienced something bad with them ^^;
    I preordered my Chogokin Drossel and just ordered a Tensouder (Goseiger) from them, which I'm currently waiting to arrive. It's the first time I've ordered from AmiAmi and I'm always a little nervous about first time buys from new places, lol ^^;
    I'm glad to hear it went well for you ^^

    In reference to Unicorn Gundam, it's set to be really cool! Gonna order the HGUC NZ-666 Kshatriya! ^^

      Same here, will take a bit of patience because we won't see episode 2 until fall. I have been getting the HG kits for now and they have been quite pleasing in terms of quality.
