Dollfie Dream clothing

Finally gave into temptation and bought a DD. (Lots of blame/credit to Danny for that decision.)
My first choice would have been a DD Saber (or Saber Alter), but haven't found one of those at a decent price, so I decided to go with my second: DD Aoi. Ordered her on Wed and she arrived yesterday evening.

However, Zoe's getting a bit chilly in just her slip and pantsu, so I need to find her some clothing. I've ordered a simple set of clothing from Dollmore (tubetop, pants and sneakers) that I think will fit as a start, but wanted any advice on buying clothing that fits here, especially if you can provide links to stores. What I'm generally looking for are shirt and pants/skirt combos, shoes, etc. Not really interested in long or complicated dresses in general. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dollmore has pretty normal clothing, just look under the SD category.

Yes. As I mentioned, I've ordered a few things from there. Just was looking for other sources as well.

My bad didn't see that. Try Leek, or look at Azone 60cm stuff at Hobby Search and HLJ.

LOL. I don't think I'll ever steep down to buying dolls. Figures are good enough for me.
Congrats on your purchase though. Just, try to keep it clean. :3

Oh..I have quite a few figures. But actually, I've been turned off them lately. There seems to be a big trend towards the articulated ones lately (Figma, Revoltech, etc). Most of them either look poorly due to the joints or break easily. I've bought a few of them and had them break with minimal handling, so that seems to be a waste of money. So, I figured that if I'm going to have to put up with joints, I'd get ones that look good and last a while, even if it's a lot more expensive.

Dollmore is good. Get used to searching the Yahoo Japan Auctions, I've gotten most of my girls' clothes there.

congrats on your firs daughter, now you've done it! Your wallet will never be the same again...heh. I agree with Cascade, I won't/cant afford the temptation.. A figma or nendo here and there will suffice.. *Saber's coming home soon!*

Suggestion: get an account on Den of Angels and earn marketplace access. I get so many things from there at really good prices it's the place I check first for doll clothes.

eBay is also good...look up a seller on there called BeachGirlNikita and get Aoi a protective suit. My Yumiko and Zetto both have these full-length unitards for protecting them from clothing dye, and when I bring home Namiko she will get one too. This is the big hazard for Dollfie Dreams and Obitsu alike: staining.

With resin, it's somewhat easy to get rid of stains, but vinyl stains are set for life. Best to avoid them.

Already have a membership there with marketplace access. I've been following threads on there and have some ideas on what to do from there. That's actually where I first found Dollmore.

I have a body stocking on order as well. Volks did not have them available when I ordered, so picked one up elsewhere. Thanks for the tip on the eBay seller. I'll check out what they have.

I've just recently bought my first DD as well -- but Den of Angels is closed to "newbies." They're currently not taking any new members. It's pretty disappointing.

Congrats on you first dollfie :) As for the clothes I try to make them myself, but also bought some stuff from Azone. In my case the shorts I bought didn't fit perfectly, but good enough, the t-shirt was ok :) oh, and azone shoes also fit :D

Those are good sites to go to, VOLKS don't really have that much of a selection and is too expensive in my opinion ><

And congrats on your first daughter! I'm trying to find my own, but i'm just reasearching and making sure I know how to care for her and buy things for her ^^

actually Volks DOES have a large selection, it's just hidden! you can go to http://www.volks.co.jp/en/superdollfie/dress/index_dress.aspx for a list or http://dollfiehome.com/2010/10/14/how-to-getting-clothes-for-your-dollfie-dream/ for more details on getting older stuff from volks
