Summer Wars US Premiere @ MIT

I'm not sure whether this post is allowed or not. ^^; It is equivalent to advertising for an anime convention and will not benefit me in any way, except that i might meet you there!
I thought that some of you might be interested in this event; the screening and Q&A is open to the public:
Mamoru Hosoda will be hosted by MIT for the screening of the New England premiere of his film Summer Wars. The screening will be followed by a Q&A. There will be additional conversation and pizza reception events at Harvard and MIT respectively. Madhouse Producer Saito Yuichiro may be there as well. ^^
The film is nominated for the Japan Academy Award for Best Animated Film. : ) Digimon and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time are among some of his other works.

It feels more like he fused his old works (Digimon and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) together and made this. Which im not saying it is bad since Summer wars is my current favor anime film of all time, but i still find the story concept funny...LOL

I might get kill for saying this but i think Hosada Mamoru is better than Hayao Miyazaki...there i said it...I mean i like totoro and some of his old school work, but the ones recently just...not as good...on the other hand From digimon to summer wars, all of Hosada sensei's works are amazing! (personal thought nothing more).
Summer Wars premiered in Singaporean cinemas last Thursday...
definitely worth the money to catch it on the big screen... after all the promotion Summer Wars got during Anime Festival Asia 09...

Went to watch it today, the story is great and some parts of the story actually made me cry manly tears.

I was so crazy about the movie that i almost buy the blu-ray DVD
but when i open my wallet and see the dust in it... damn... life sucks xD
Welll the plot of Summer Wars is pretty much 80% Digimon Adventure the Movie: Our War Game...

Out of all places I'd like to see Summer wars... Waterloo doesn't get that much appreciation in terms of anime T_T
