Black Lagoon Collection (with Roberta)
Hey guys! After a long time of searching, I finally found the Newline Roberta brand new for a decent price. I missed out on her when she was first released and had been regretting it ever since because I could not complete my collection. She arrived yesterday, surprisingly in perfect condition ^^ (I've seen many horror stories of broken Robertas, which is why I was initially hesitant to get her). I'm really happy with her, and I love how she complements the two resin Revy figures in the collection. I'm happy some new figures are finally being made for Black Lagoon, the Revy Bust and Balalaika Ltd. figures are being shipped to me and due to arrive next week so hopefully they will be in my next update along with a Balalaika garage kit that I commissioned someone to paint for me (pictured at the bottom). Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the pictures! Black Lagoon is definitely one of my favorite animes of all time :D

Sooo much revy awesomeness. Can't wait for the next OVA to come out. hmm, so many revys. Which one would you recommend?? It seems a simple revy revoltech won't be enough for me after all, heh.

Of the Revys I would definitely recommend either the Newline, Jun Planning, or Alter ones.. each one was definitely worth the price! ^^
Do want, i think this is the best figure out of them all. To bad it's all sold out, or really expensive on ebay :(

Wow! You sure have a lot of shrines, eh? Nice collection of Black Lagoon figures ^_^ I can't remember which of the Roberta figure that was collecting dust in this corner of one store, but I felt sorry that I almost bought her ^^;

That's sad to hear there's an unsold Roberta collecting dust somewhere :(..even if I already had her I would buy her again just for the principle of her being a Black Lagoon figure lol

Yep, I ordered her just a few days ago..she's goregous O.O..though I wish she was in her scuba suit from the Nazi arc instead because, as a girl, the skimpy bathing suit does nothing for me Xp
Haha, same I'm a girl as well. Still debating whether I should spend all my money on her or not xD
And I don't think the bikini says revy, can't think of her ever being one especially a pink one! :P
I vote the Scuba suit too. Black or Camo bikini maybe. But Revy in Pink just put me off the figure.

The Roberta figure is a gem. The artist seems to have nearly perfectly captured the character's deadly grace and steel femininity. I can hear in my head the sweet melancholy music of the bar shootout when looking at her. I congratulate you on your aquisition of this prize. I am hunting for her.
I hope some of the manufacturers are tuning in to just how elemental is the attraction of this character. You would want her on your side in trouble. At the same time, you want to shield her from such trouble, and successfully comfort her with lasting redemption. She has a conscience, battered ideals, and regret, and thus is salvagable. I don't want to see her again. I hope she gets to keep her glasses on.
