I received my first order from this particular online retailer about ten days ago. It is true that they recycle boxes for shipping.

I noticed "a not so recent trend" of similar posting. So here my contribution.

Gotta love Otacool. Super quick shipping even for SAL, and huzzah for the recycling! The freebies you get are awesome too.

Ah. Otacute. I should try them sometime. All I've tried using are US stores, and amiami. Though the stuff I ordered from amiami are still in their preorder stage, so I don't know anything about their shipping. :3

amiami is one of the best stores in japan (you maybe have heard this a lot ^__^'), you'll love it for sure, your stuff is always well protected, sometimes I freak out about the huge box they use for trading cards, I recycle them so I can feel better afterward >.<

They often fill in empty spaces with thick wrinkled papers to avoid shacking and absorb shock. I think they use small foam bricks as well.

Ooo, the Yui figma is so cute! Nice purchase

I've ordered from Otacute several times before, and have always experienced wonderful service from them (as well as recycled boxes, like a mikan and plate box XD ).

@___@;; I hope I get my Yui soon. Also bought her from Otacute and had her shipped via SAL. However I have not gotten her yet... heck, I just got my figma Mio who was shipped a couple weeks after Yui and Mio was shipped via SAL, too.

I have used Otacute a few times now and I have been very pleased with them. The SAL shipping of my Nendoroid Yui & Mio took about 3 weeks which seemed fairly long although they did say it would be approximately 2-3 weeks in the email. So can't complain there.

The freebies I have got so far have just been calendar cards lol, but I guess you get what you pay for XD
