Saber Lily Distant Avalon

I felt like going outside and take some snaps of this popular figure that has been seen many many times, but deserves once again our attention.
Indeed, she has just been elected figure of the year on Best Figure Awards 2010, during the 3rd edition of this event organized by French comrades from FigureManiax. Saber was facing Black Rock Shooter, both from GoodSmile. And the vote ended to be very close.
I love this Saber figure, and she now has pride of place in my showcase, between Kureha and Yami-chan ^^
BRS is undeniably a big hit too. Though I prefer the future anime version figure of this mysterious black twintail girl. I don’t really like this first figure of her actually. I guess it is the pose or something ^^;;
Saber Lilly and BRS are the best figures of 2009, i think its a matter of taste when it comes to chose the best, about the anime ver i dont really like how she is leaning to the front so mutch, with the cannon and all i think its going to take a lot space from the shelves
I remember the explosion of figure posts with her when she came out. You don't see her mentioned as much anymore. Out of those two I like Saber Lily more though because the dynamic pose beats BRS standing there. The photoshoots with BRS got old pretty quick imo, but I still look forward to the Saber ones.
No doubt on saber lily was the best figure for 2009. So many collectors want to own her. ^_^
Man. I missed BRS but I gotta agree with the crowd that Saber Lily and BRS are the best of 2009!
Ryougi Shiki's Garan no Do was 08's best. Funny enough they're all usually from GSC... I sense a conspiricy :3.
