Anyone knew about this!? I'd never thought they were bringing it in and I'd just found out about it today while browsing the newspaper.
Showing exclusively at TGV Sunway Pyramid and Cathay Cineplex Damansara
Personally, I think this is much more exciting than May'n coming, lol >_<
*EDITED: Over-excitement got the better of me, it's not on GSC, but it's Cathay Cineplex, just like 1.0 was.

You mean on DVD? They should be available in most DVD retail stores, I believe. Though if possible, you might wanna go online and search for the Blu-ray 1.11 Movie, which is supposed to be the final revision.

There was a subbed version of that on the net. Look for "frankens subs"

When will it be shown in GSC? I can not find the info on their website. As well as for TGV, I can't access it, my university is blocking it for the moment. I want to plan in advance.
It's just got on today, you can reserve tickets in advance. The show is only available at the 2 cinemas mentioned above (Cineleisure Damansara/ TGV Sunway Pyramid), should be listed under their respective showtimes.
I saw the first movie, loved it. Want to see the 2.0 but it ain't subbed yet. ;_;
Lucky! I don't think even art theaters out here are getting it. (Not that it doesn't surprise me, to tell the truth.) I was lucky enough to catch a 35mm subbed screening of the first movie at AX a couple years ago, but I doubt I'll be lucky enough to get my butt to any cons at all, much less any that may be running the film. ^^; Ah well.
It'll probably be at GenCon this year (The first one was, I missed it...) So, are you close to Indianapolis?
I so want a blu-ray release of this.

Seriously though, Anime fans NEED to see this movie. It was so awesome, it made me churn out an 8000 plus word thesi... er, review of it the very night.

Unfortunately our national censorship board (Filem Negara Malaysia) is strict, so EVA 2.0 has a few minutes censored, but nothing of a worry as all the crucial scene is still intact.

Please kindly correct it, thanks in advance. I'd worked so hard in convincing Cathay & associates to bring in this movie for Malaysia fans (not to mention I worked free of charge during the period), I wouldn't wanna piss off the movie distributor with any error, especially coming from within my own DC community ^^;
EVA 2.0 will be showing for 2 weeks starting 4th March, hope you're in time to catch it in cinema for awe experience ;-)

Well, the DVDs/BluRays will be released this May 26th, so it won't really be a long wait, since it already took over a year for the movie to get to our shores.
Oh when, oh when, will it come to the good ole US of A??? I'm jonesing for my Eva fix. Jonesing, I tell you. I have the shakes, even. Need to see new character plus new take on Asuka. Funimation says "We do not necessarily have 2.0 licensed at this point" according to an email I got. Some answer, huh?
