Finished GN-X

Posted by Falldog [www]

Finally finished the GN-X I reviewed awhile ago. Not too many poses because the green paint scratches off way too easily.

If you're going to pose it a lot, I'd recommend a few layers of "dullcote" or some other flat type of paint, might be a bit easier on the colors....

Ooh, very nice. Looks a lot like the shade of green on the new movie GNX type. Really digging it.

1.) He got metal custom verniers
      2.) He used Bare-Metal Foil
3.) He used a very good metallic paint.

Looks really nice. Very cool looking. Flat/Semi-flat/gloss matt coat could help decrease the chance of paint chipping. :3

hey falldog. i like the nice falt finish you gave it. finished adding a clear topcoat to my gn-x a while ago too since i also got a bit of scratching from posing the damn thing. did you ever have difficulty removing the GN-drive after painting the conical thing on its back? it's my number 1 headache.

Nah, I can remove it and put it back without issue. Each time I do it takes a bit of paint with it though :(

Very fine job of painting this thing, so smooth and flat..

Personal gripe though, the violet parts could've been darker. Don't mind this though xD
