Hobart AICON 2010 Day 02
The last and final day of AICON 2010, the committee members were getting exhausted while trying their very best to entertain .. and i was nearly drained both physically and mentally, but that only kicked in when i got back home .. its a very good feeling, just like working out at the gym, pushing urself to the very end, and when you are satisfied, you just shutdown without knowing.
Today, the AICON hours were between 0900hrs to 1700hrs! And these, are souvenirs of my journey to share!

Met a Team Fortress 2 Engineer
2 Stormtroopers and 1 Bike trooper decided to wander outside the University of Tasmania (UTAS) hall where AICON is being held. FREEDOM!!
Seeing how many friendly honks and driver/passenger smiles we can get!

In Australian conventions, Sci Fiction blends in with the Anime society. Its the combined effort of costumers and cosplayers that make conventions randomly entertaining!

There is nearly no age limit when it comes to joining the Empire!

Unlike most troopers, i played FF8 and Kingdom Hearts to know your moves! This Otaku Trooper is prepared!

They also had Auctions .. with all kinds of goodies from manga (yaoi, yuri and etc), anime DVD box sets and etc. But i am amazed that there are a lot .. and i mean .. A LOT .. of Yaoi readers >_<

You see the guy with the tall stack of Auction loot? He was nicked Growlithe (Yeah, the Pokemon) .. he was bidding like crazy for all kinds of anime loot!
Winry seemed to be giving off a killer vibe for bidding, and we all know what would happen if the auction had armor/automail .. for the audiences' safety, Winry was given a VIP area XD
Mario (FF7 Yuffie from Day 01) and Luigi (Snowtrooper from Day 01/Crossplayer from Day 02) won themselves a nice Otaku Oppai mousepad with Mikuru on it >.<

Thanks for sharing pics on AICON 2010 , Now I can see a lot of difference between Anime Conventions on The East and The West .
We certainly don't have Auctions back in Malaysia ^^;;
conventions are different everywhere. thats why i love attending conventions all around! btw, this convention had a very high female otaku yaoi factor >.<
I haven't gone to a convention in years for various reasons this post made me want to go to one.

conventions is not just about looking .. its also about how u contribute to it and making it awesome! after u pay the entrance fee first! haha! i also did other stuff with my trooper armor before i went to AICON2010 >.< My older posts!
