Late February and Early March things
I've been lazily looking for some figures lately, luckily i recieved my Luka Nendoroid (Many thanks if you ever come across this post) and there was another anime convention here yesterday and today and i only gotten three figures; Figma Shirou Emiya, Konata Izumi summer clothing, and Nendoroid Raspberyl.

Well, I finally gotten a hold of Shirou, and now i have to get me Rin and Armored Saber. I missed the preorders for Rider, but i guess it's not so bad. Will just have to wait for another opportunity for her. I'm kind of disappointed about the quality control as one of my Saber's left hand broke. I guess it was stuck to the paint or something, but the ball was ripped off, so i had to dig it out. Replacing hands are a bit a hassel with the ball at the end in the first place, however Shirou's left hand generally doesn't sit in there tightly. In fact it's too loose and it can be pulled out with ease. Anyways here they are at the dinner table.

I received this late February but was too lazy to post it, but here it is now.

I finally gotten a hold of Konata and now she completes the summer set. I will have to find Tsukasa winter clothes edition. She's very elusive.

This was a hard decision for me because at the convention, there were other nendoroids i wanted really badly, but i only brought a mere $200 for items, which isn't nearly enough money for figures. The other Nendoroids i had wanted was Sebastian, Yoko, and Shana, but they were already $45 and up, Sebastian being the most expensive at $60 and Raspberyl here at $55 (tax included) but i decided on her since she was a bit harder to find for some reason or another.

This is my first male figma...but then again i don't have many options as Lelouch and Suzaku are quite hard to find and I'm still waiting on sufficient funds on getting Kyon, Itsuki, Len, and eventually Archer when preorders go up-will order one as soon as they go up XD

These items were in a grab bag, a lot of the thing here i recognize, but there were a few i didn't know. $30 for this-i thought it was worth it since there wasn't anything else that i wanted to buy at the convention as accessories such as keychains and such didn't catch my eyes or they weren't worth it. $13 plus tax for a tako Luka keychain...um i don't think so even as tempting they were.

Anyways that's it for now and until next time

"disappointed about the quality control as one of my Saber's left hand broke"
Was it the open hand she came with? Same thing happened to mine. Pretty much right out of the box, trying to pull the hand out. The ball had to be drilled out since it snapped at the wrist. :( I wonder if this is a problem many of them have?
yep, same thing with mine except i didn't try to change the hand until recently
Forgot which hand, but one of my Saber's hands is as.. Bad as two of my Little Busters Mobip's.
Basically, the little peg keeping the peg for the arm and the hand together is.. Too short.
I have that problem, and i'm guessing many others too, with Aegis's pegs being too short. It can be unconventional for them to fall out with the slightest touch but i haven't had too much problems so far though, it only came off about 1/8 of the time.
I have the same problem with a recently acquired 2nd hand Kyon. The ball joint is left inside his sleeve, need to figure out how to remove it but brain to tired....must sleep.....charge mana.....(slumps on keyboard) I just finished 3 straight night shifts.
I see, i heard that Kyon had the problem with the ball breaking off in one of his sleeve and most of them said that it was the hand with a camera. I wonder if it's a defect in most Kyons released? Anyways three straight night shifts!?
Yeah, my Kyon's camera hand also snapped.
Tried the metal pin thing.. Not working.
cba to re-drill a hole in there, so I just swapped arms with Koizumi.
Plan B, if it ever happens again, is to get the ball out and wrap some tape around the peg of the hand. Like Figma Blog suggested for the winter gloves. It should, in theory, work.
Try using a small drill bit. If you hold the drill bit with pliers, you should be able to just drill the ball joint out. That's what did the job on mine.
Pick up a small handheld "Pin Vise" specially made for drill sizes in the #69 through #83 (tiny!). They're readily avaialble at many hobby shops (model trains, planes, RC cars, etc.) in their tools section. Pliers can slip & gouge and then you have two things to fix.
Oh I want her soooo bad!! (I find it in a convention but it was 40€ and I spent all my money for other things...too bad...)
