I am just nerding out over the end of the trailer where he breaks out the Suitcase Armor. But the movie definitely looks awesome.

Suitcase-type "Light" armor, I'm thinking.
Old-school Iron Man fans will love this, it explains how Tony an become Iron Man without the whole armor assembly unit, PLUS: It explains why Whiplash will give him a hard time--the Suit armor is obviously an "Emergency" Iron Man light armor, not as tough as the full Mk.4 suit...

old school iron man charges his armour's power using cable plugged in to wall socket if i'm not mistaken.
Well for me at least the suitcase armor seemed like a homage to the old 90s Iron Man cartoon where Tony Stark's armor comes in the form of a Suitcase. I think one of the original Iron Man armors did fold into a suitcase/briefcase.
I think the suitcase armor came from way back in the comics. Either way, they did it very well from what I see in the trailer!
yeah the suitcase armor lasted till the 1990s evolving to so many types of bags. The suitcase then the backpack .. then to the most recent one (ever seen) in 2009, when the armor are thin metals part of Tony Stark's room (wherever he moves to).
He just speaks the word and it forms onto him automatically. But the only different is .. in the comics, the armor is more than a Mark 1-4 .. since he has over 300-400 versions now.
The one u see in the movies was his recent version developed in 2009.

watched the trailer(s) with Firefox, no problem - liked the assembly line for SAFS !! YEA !! - Reminds me a bit of the old school NITTO A.F.S. Mk II but with Gundam-style weapon on the shoulder . . . and they have scenes from Monaco Gran Prix . . . TOO much for my soul . . . LD
