Nagoya Considers Gundam Museum

-First off: image credit to Ken Lee. He took some really great pictures of the Odaiba Gundam, and has hosted them on his flickr for us to share and credit to. <3
I also picked his picture because...this very Gundam has something to do with what may be a really neat event for those visiting Nagoya....
...and I don't know about you...but when I hear "Gundam", I get excited about anything Gundam related. XD
-Now, I thought we'd discuss something interesting.
GUNDAM MUSEUM!
Wait...hasn't that already been done? Of course it has! But the building the old G museum was in, was sold, and now Nagoya city is looking to build a full-blown Gundam museum- as well as looking to host that one and only 1/1 scale sucker everyone fell in love with last summer! Bandai's last museum only featured a large bust of the RX-78. So I'm curious to see the 1/1 scale hosted alongside other great features of what may be coming up soon.
I think it'd be a great idea - Nagoya city council member Ogawa Toshiyuki feels like it will help Nagoya's economy a bit- and provide some fun as well. I think it works well because Nagoya is somewhat of a central city.
I shared an article related to this subject on my blog at: http://www.runaroundkazu.com/
My official article lives here: http://www.runaroundkazu.com/2010/03/nagoya-proposes-gundam-museum.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+RunAroundKazu+(Run+Around+Kazu)
But I want to know what you guys think? I've asked a few in the puchi blurbs - some said a few interesting things. But I think a post makes it easier to discuss. This topic is also open on my forum at: http://bit.ly/bKcfG6 although not much is happening there atm.
So forum- would you visit the possible to be Nagoya Gundam Museum? Or is it a waste of time? Will using the franchise "Gundam" get Nagoya and it's economy any help like city council thinks? Debate!

Anywhere where the 1/1 scale is I'll definitely visit. Just hope that the "spirit" of Gundam is there, not just using the name
Gundam Museum = WIN!
I have been a fan of Gundam for years...and I wanted to go to the previous Gundam museum, but if they do create a full blown new one there, it will produce quite a bit of revenue to the city...I can't wait till I get to make a trip to Japan...
I love the idea! Unfortunately, I've only ever found time to watch Gundam Wing and none of the rest (eventually... eventually). I would KILL to see 1:1 scale of Wing Zero or Death Scythe! *Chuckles* Finding a place to house one full scale Gundam will be hard enough... let alone multiple ones though.
