After months of admiring other Gundam modellers' great work, I finally decided to get reacquainted with this hobby again. I used to build gunplas when I was young but that was just snapping together the plastic pieces and then treat the gunpla as a toy. These days I hope I can do a better job than snapping the pieces together.

Here are some photos for you, the full article is at http://kamlau.com/gundam/hg-seravee-gundam-part-1/

Some of the tools I didn't have when I was young. They help a lot especially when working with small parts like the head.

Head unit received some small modifications.

Antena also got modifications.

A tool that helps me cement the two sides of the head.

The head is mostly done, can you tell what are the modifications?

So far, I got the head and the upper body completed. I will post more progress photos in an on going basis until it is finished.

Oh nice photos, might I add, you should shoot with a higher aperture for more depth of field.

So will this build simply be an oob build concerning paint and removing seam lines?

I totally agree about the depth of field, I will try with a different approach next time. Macro lens always got very narrow depth of field... I will try to do as much detailing to this kit as I can. Since it is the first gunpla I build in a long time, progress might be slow ^^
