Gundam Giveaway Winners

As mentioned in the previous giveaway post, you was to submit your Gunpla works and folks at HLJ would pick out what they thought to be the top 3. Well they have chosen and have also given us some blurb as to why they like these 3 pieces.

First up is 1/144 HG XXXG-01SR2 Mk.II-04 "Sandrock" by Karl. HLJ says:-

-Modeler shows impressive modeling expertise, creativity, and love for gunpla in this entry.
-Original modifications to the base design makes this a truly unique custom.
-Custom diorama base adds greatly to the overall presentation.

Finally its the GN-001:RE Exia Repair by WingStrike.
HLJ Says:-

-Brilliant work on the realistic battle damage and weathering effects

Congrats to all winners who should contact me at support at dannychoo dot com with your mailing address and phone number. You should also include a link to a Robot Tamashii of your choice from HobbyLink Japan - but it must be in stock.

Thank you to all who participated and you can see all entries under the "gundamgiveaway" tag.
Hope you had as much fun as I did looking at the entries - and as always - the giveaways will continue.

The battle damage adds so much more interest than the pristine undamaged gunpla, though Raven Strike is a nice piece of work. Nice work guys.

I particularly think the Sandrock and Raven Strike are just too stunning for words. Definitely professional work there. Exia Repair is very cool for the effort gone into recreating the battle damage from Gundam 00, and a worthy contender for 3rd place.

I'm still awe stuck by the work on the first two though. Karl, do you showcase your work anywhere?

Congrats to the winners! Cheers, Mike.
