Being the lazy sort of person that I am, I haven't done a loot post in quite some time. As such, I've decided to just include all (or most) of my new acquisitions since the beginning of the year.

I also got this huge Valkyria Chronicles cloth poster off eBay for about $13. It smelled like paint for a while after it arrived, but that faded eventually, and it depicts possibly my favorite piece of VC game art.

The items you see in this shot--the PSP 1000, the stack of 10 games, and the Evangelion Perfect Collection box set--are of particular note. Get ready, this is a good one.

Total cost of everything you see above: $60 USD. Yeah. It's kind of a long story, so I put it up on my blog, if you're interested. There's a ton more photos of everything over there as well.

On a final note, I'd like to relay a bit of advice to anyone else on figure.fm who, like me, does not have a DSLR and has trouble with the blurriness from camera shake when trying to photograph small items like figures or what have you up close or from different angles. I got this tabletop tripod from Wal-mart for about $6, and it puts my point-and-shoot digital camera at or near-level with my figures when they're on a table or the floor or something.

Here's an example:

There's no way this shot would have come out as well if I put my camera on the floor, tried to lean my normal tripod over, or just held the camera free-hand. I don't know if anyone else has been having problems, but if you are then I'd definitely recommend something like this. It's worked quite well for me, and again, it was only $6.

And that's all I've got for today. Thanks for reading!
