The Melancholy of Saber Lililily (A Durarara!! Parody)
Sorry for stuttering... The Durarara ending animation has been parodied many times on Youtube and NicoNicoDouga, and I decided I'll do one too. So for the past week I've been working on this video, staying up later than I should be. However, since I can't draw to save my life, I used Figmas (and 1 Revoltech) instead.
This video is based on my series of 4koma comics, The Melancholy of Saber Lily. Which means the characters in this video has appeared or will appear in the comics one day.
You can see the full picture and other stories regarding the making of this video on my blog.
But of course I'll give exclusive content here as well... The unedited pictures used to make this video!

I used MEIKO Puchi Nendoroid for size reference when I initially took the pictures, but I ended up just eyeballing it...

Some of these pictures aren't the ones I used, but alternate pictures that I didn't think would fit properly.

Took off Drossel's twin tails. It looks better this way.

The Saber Lily in the video has a better pantsu flash :P

Rei looks like she's meditating... Her thighs couldn't bend higher than that...

Heheh, had to put in some Yaoi in there because it was in the comics ^^;

But I used Kanu's ripped blouse to compensate for the above picture.

I had hard time to find Nanoha... and her shoulders were hard to move too when I got her out of the box!

I almost changed the whole lineup because I couldn't find Nanoha... But Fate works perfectly in place of Selty in the original video.
Unfortunately I'm not the first one to do this... Mr. Kammy posted here on Figure.FM a month ago. Though I did come up with the idea by myself and did not mean to copy what he did... But for posterity's sake, here is his version.

Thank you! Something I forgot to write in the post is that I converted the video on to my PSP and then I used that video to match the poses as best as possible. But some figures have limitations on their movement ^^; And likewise, I'm jealous of people who have more figmas than I do! XD
Just pretend it's Celty/Selty with twin tails ^_^

Bedaankt! But you sure got the idea fast and initiated it right away!

IMO,you both did a good job,the way you posed the figmas so accurately to the characters' original poses.Must have been tough trying to fix their limbs that way.

Trying to get them to stand is also a hard thing to do for some of these poses. Some can't use the stand to stand up because it'd get in the way of the figure ^^;

Spot on! You guessed right. Though it kept moving as I keep changing bases, but it's still there for reference when I took the photos :)
