This is a summary of my verdict on the MG kit...

Pros
• GN Drive LED light up gimmick... That a huge plus!
• Bling bling blades; Shiny...
• Over-the-top poseability thanks to the advancement of MG Gunpla technology... :P
• Exia RE conversion ^_^
• adjustable pelvic joints
• Clear stickers (Unlike the old ones that tends to rip off easily)
• Eye candy markings (Love the blue stripes...)

Cons
• Parts swapping to create Exia RE
• No bling bling on Exia RE's blade of GN Sword
• Range of bending at knee area
• Obstructive design at elbow area
• Loose skirt pieces
• Loose Beam Sabre/Dagger grip points
• Design of holstered rifle on GN Sword
• Unnecessary extending gimmick on GN Shield
• Sharing too many parts from the 1/100 version

Looking forward to an MG Astraea, if there is one... ^_^

Actually I won't think no bling bling for the Repair's sword is a con. It's actually a pro.

Logically thinking, why would a damaged sword still "bling". Having no bling means it's easier to do weathering, which would have look so much better than a bling broken sword. Just my opinion. ^^

This is what I think... A metal will always be metal no matter how wear off it becomes... It won't suddenly turned into plastic or something else...

Bandai should leave the blade in bling bling mode and we'll decide how to wear it off... ^_^

      good point LOL!
maybe we can give the white GN sword part a grey paint and finish it with a lighter grey dry sweep, that would be sufficient. adding some scratch effects will then make it more perfect. my 2 cents.

Hmm, the decals give it a HCM-Pro feel.
Really nice details for an OOB MG.

Theres an Astraea converted from a MG Exia in Sept's DHM.

      Yeah... I read that...

Some of the 1/100 parts can actually be used directly on the MG~!

The biggest CON for me is the coat made of plastic... When Bandai made the Crossbone X1 the coat was made of fabric that was really good looking, this piece of plastic, unless well shaded with paint looks quite crappy.

Mmmm... Perhaps I should remove the ABC Cape from my Striding X-1 Cloud and installed it on Exia RE... ^_^
