Ok, so not exactly my first post. The other post was testing our email-to-post feature. Either way, I thought I would say Hi, since I talk to some of you over in the Puchi Blurbs. I've been working with Danny for almost a year now. Seems like it was 10 years ago that we first met since so much has happened in this last year ^^

I'm not much into female figures or dolls, but I do appreciate the female figures with swords and armor ^^ However you won't find me bashing fans of other figures. I always think each person is entitled to their own hobbies, even if it's not for me.

My criteria for figures I like are loosely based around the following ^^

  1. Does it have a gun, sword, hammer or any other weapon?
  2. Can it fly and/or stomp on things?
  3. Does it make other things explodify?

I used to paint Warhammer 40k models many, many years ago and I've always enjoyed building things, either online or offline. I'd always admired Japanese figures/gundam from a distance and it wasn't until I came to Japan and started working with Danny that I purchased my first Gundam. He's the one you see below, in front of my recent purchases.

I'm also becoming a fan of the Kotobukiya HMM Zoids. Nobody can deny that dinosaurs are awesome, just watch Jurassic Park. I'm sure we can also agree that robots are awesome too. So robot dinosaurs, with cannons, are too awesome to miss out on ^^ So I purchased the Buster Tortoise and Danny kindly gifted me the huge Red Horn for my recent hard work. I have a lot of fun building ahead!

I decided to get the GM Cold Districts Type you see above since it was only 670円. I'm using it for trying out painting and other things, since I don't want to ruin the more awesome kits ^^

Btw, how do you like the new figure.fm layout? There's still work to be done, but we're moving things in the right direction I hope.

Thanks, it seems to have had a good response so far.
I'll definitely be posting the finished product, when I eventually get some building time.

But the GM is awesome in its own right too. (:3c
I'm waiting for a HMM of the Genesis series, if they're ever going that direction.

The new layout is definitely going the right way. Not sure how to word this properly; maybe it's the white, but I feel that the webpages seem to be even more "spacious" now.

Very nice Mr. Gaunt!! I recently got that Cold climate GM too. It served me a lot in many missions of the Gundam Senki game for PS3 and I always liked winter types. Can't wait to see you try paint jobs on it and see it finished! Keep up the good work!! Banzai!

Why does my avatar look like that now? It was ok a few days ago and was always the one I used since I subscribed. Now,only part of it is visible... weird.

Since we changed the layout we are using avatars as background images. It's shown there is a small bug with some avatars not being resized. We're working on a fix. For now, you might want to try uploading again or resizing the avatar yourself and then uploading.

YES YES! I approve of your GP02A! One of my favourite Gundams, even if it's got tiny spindly arms, lol.

Good job on the new Figure.FM layout :)
