Nendo/Figma Journey: AICON Anime Screening
13th March 2010, the anime club (AICON) at University of Tasmania (UTAS) had an anime screening. They seem to have it every 2 weeks or so, showing anime screenings between 1200hrs to 1800hrs. There was a lot of common otaku talk and also other random topics, from manga to anime. Fortunately for me, this time there was other animes to talk about besides yaoi manga/anime.
Found the otaku dudes i have been seeking for, with common interests! Talked about everything from Love Hina to Negima, seiyuus, Fate Stay Night (and its games) and etc etc etc .. Behold the nendo/figma journey!

The Curious 3 finally unleashed from their travel bag

Exploration begins

Discovering new things.

A list of names!

What do we do?

Need we say more?

Signing up a membership with the AICON crew, so i get to watch Anime Screenings =)

Figma writing is hardwork!

Neko-napped!!

Found many other otakus with similar interests, talked about everything related to our passion and hobbies!

They were screening Lupin III, Garden of Sinners and Umineko no Naku Koro ni

I got busted for bringing a camera into the screening .. >_<

The trio found new friends! Hope that next time, these comrades bring theirs for a group shot as well!

That's so cool, it looks like you and the other had a good time ^^ I wish there was somewhere nearby me that did this kind of thing; I've never known of one... Maybe I should start my own group meetings XD
