NendoGamer Weekly Travelogue 1
Hi everyone! NendoGamer here and i am to present to you a weekly corner for Figure.FM
This is NendoGamer Weekly Travelogue where i will post up some of my skirmishes together with Drossel as we go around the metro in search for interesting stuff.
As noticed by some, this travelogue is inspired by the previous Travelogue done by Kodomut and friends. Although this will not be similar to it since we have Drossel leading the pack.
Anyways, for this week we visited the offices of Level-Up-Games PH. The company is one of the largest game distributors here in the country with titles ranging from "Ragnarok Online" , "Flyff" , "RF Online" , "Grand Chase" , "Rohan" , "Perfect World" and many more. The company has also branched out overseas and now has different sites throughout the globe. This week's visit is for the game "Grand Chase" as we are to do a project that will help new players and expert players of the said game enjoy their adventures to the max. Meeting is done in the afternoon so a bit of walking was done during the day. Paid a visit to the malls in the Ayala area and not to mention the Philippine Stock Exchange's Ayala Triangle Park.

This is the back portion of Greenbelt 3 Mall area. The waters there are home to some carps wherein you will lose a finger if you dip a it in. Always prefer the said area during early hours like 7am-9am since there are less people in the area and not to mention owners are walking their dogs.

The building that you see here is the Philippine Stock Exchange. When i first saw this, i thought it was a huge company firm. The entrance of the said place resembles the airport here in the Philippines.
Outside this is the Ayala Triangle Gardens Park.

Signboard of the park operation hours. You don't need to spend zennies to get in. Will feature more about the said park next week as i showcase it on morning and evening (hopefully).

During the day we also encountered the Anti-Smoke Belching people. These guys will fine you from 500 PHP to 1,000 PHP when caught and get your license confiscated. To redeem it you need to visit the City Hall and pay the fees. Exchange rate of Peso to Dollar is 50PHP = 1USD ( or 48 PHP = 1 USD ) so overall it's almost 1 Figma for just forgetting to do some car maintenance.
Got caught with them once but they never got my license since i showed them that i am scheduled for a maintenance check ( Presented them the Service Order Form of Mitsubishi Motors for i was to bring the car for maintenance that day ). Do you guys have the same peeps in your woods?

And now, the inside area of the LU Office. Presented here are the collection of trophies of the company. The company holds an annual event known as LEVEL-UP LIVE which hosts the tourneys for the country in order to know who will they send out to represent our country in the world series.

Visit this time is for the game Grand Chase. Met up with the Game Masters to discuss the collaboration and also the bugs that are persisting in the game (which is now resolved ) For those who don't know, here's what Grand Chase is.
Grand Chase is also in Season 3 and available for the following countries: Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brazil, North America etc. Grand Chase japan however closed down since the lack of players ended up forcing it to close which goes the same for Grand Chase SEA
Been playing Grand Chase when it was first shown to the world back in 2003. Was an active player and game contributor in both forums and with the company of LU Brazil collaborating with players to enhance gameplay. Even ended up learning how to speak a small portion of their language. During that era, it was season 1 and now Season 3 just started this 2010. So far this is the longest running game i've ever played.
Now that Grand Chase is available to my own country i decided to assist them in providing awesome service for the said game.
Gameplay of Grand Chase ( This is the skill tree exhibition event in North America )

Karate pose? Trophy is from FLYFF Online. Trophy looks cool but a bit simple if you ask me.

Bug's life trophy! This trophy is the Perfect World Phoenix Tourney trophy. Although what i am questioning as to why it looks like a bug. Level-Up officials inform me that it's not a bug.
Drossel takes a ride hoping that it will move like the ones in the arcades.

Drossel posing for Pangya? Nope, Drossel is mimicking the Ragnarok World Championship Trophy. This trophy was obtained during the time when the said RWC was held at japan. I was really surprised that Ragnarok Online is still strong in different countries.

Got back home and look what Drossel stole from one of her comrades~!
That's it for this week's entry. Will Try to do more images that will give you eye candy as we visit SM Megamall and Greenhills plus Makati (again) in the weeks to come.
Till then~!
