When Exclusives are sold out at the source, like Wonder Fest...
-Where do you find them?
*a) any particular stores in Akihabara? or in the Tokyo area*
b) online?
c) how much would you be willing to spend? or just sigh and forget about it

-guess which one i want the most

Try to find them online I guess. I won't pay too much over their retail price. Usually I have no choice but to forget about and wait until I go to Japan myself (a year and a half from now...)

I usually get exclusive stuff from YAJ. If I was in Japan I'd probably look at Mandarake first. As for how much I'd spend... it really depends on the item and how much I want it. If I really want something sometimes I just don't focus on the cost and just think how much I enjoyed the purchase so I don't feel too bad..lol.. On avearage, I think on exclusives I'd maybe pay twice the original cost.

As for which figure posted you want most...Snow Miku?

Japanese Yahoo! Auctions is the best source on sold out items. You won't be able to directly bid on items but you can use a deputy service.

What kind of deputy service? I'm new to having a 3rd party get items for me.

I've used GoodyJapan for all of my needs, I've also heard good things about Yokattaweb.

A good place to go is Madarake. I already own Snow Miku and Live Stage K-on!
The store is great, they just have a strange way of shipping stuff. Like if you ordered 2 products from two different store locations (Like Akihabara and Shibuya). They will ship separately. But hay, whatcha gotta do for some exclusives?

For the most part, limited figures don't interest me that much. They're more or less just a way for collectors to show off something that no one else has. I'd sigh and forget it. The regular run stuff usually look better than the limited stuff anyways.
Especially, when the limited stuff is just a derivative of an original regular figure. If it's gonna be a limited figure, i think that companies should at least make them different, as in poses, or style, but taking a look at the first three pictures you posted, those are just derivatives of regular run figures, while the last two nendos are actually unique.

Madarake is good when they have the items. It is better than YAJ as most proxy services require you to pay upfront, if auction lost, you will have to search for something else to spend rather than transfer the money back.

I usually use proxy to get them from either the official site, or Yahoo! Auctions Japan.

    Currently I just get them by ordering online or visiting the event in question ^^;

When I'm living in the UK I usually just get them from eBay or from an online shop that manages to get its hands on a few. It's expensive, but I rarely get exclusives anyway.

Proxy services make the world a happy (and sometimes an extravagantly expensive) place.
