Brilliant Stage Sakura Nanako

Posted by twu

I just finished posting a review for MegaHouse's Sakura Nanako. A really lovely figure with a beautiful paint job and excellent sculpt. More photos over at my bloggg.

Anyone else have her in their collection?

Enjoy the rest of the photos. ^^

What's your budget and what type of pictures are you going take?

I'm using a Nikon D60 + Tamron 90m f/2.8 Macro lens. Plus a couple of external flashes, posterboards, reflectors, and whatever I can improvise. You can actually notice the difference in my photography skill and understanding of how light works from my earliest pictures to the latest. I am still learning. >_<

      Thank you.

I'm still using a compact camera atm, so I don't think camera is that important yet if you're starting out.

You can experiment with different lighting set up and advance from there. A good starter is to read up on super rat's indoor photography tutorial. Take a bunch of test shots to see how the different settings work on your camera, see what you like and what you don't like, post some pictures on DC/figure.fm/forums and see if anyone have any pointers for you.
