Armor Build: Stormtrooper E11 Blaster (Hasbro)
The ingredients to make a decent lightweight trooper blaster are:
Now my armor is complete with *pew pew*. Will be attending an event by Heroes 4 Kids (H4K) at the Hobart Botanical Gardens for 2 hours. Trooping with superheroes, villians, sidekicks and etc. Will post more when i finish the troop. Heroes 4 Kids are a group of people who have the talent and the interest that could rival any otaku cosplayer, but instead of them being called otakus .. they are mostly known as dedicated fanboys!

When first buying the gun, it has like embedded text all over the place. Sand it off gently. U dont want ppl to see the "Made in ..." or the "Copyrighted .." text.

This is how the gun looks like when u take it out of the box.

This is what u use to cover up the screw holes and unwanted holes. Easy to apply, its as soft as icing, but dries within 10min.

Look at all those holes to cover!

This is the resin kit i bought from the UK. There are many types out there, but i decided to go with the UK one.

Holes filled and waiting for it to dry.

The fillers are dried as solid as .. hmm .. hot glue. Now u just need some sanding work to flatten it out.

Sanding the Left side too.

Gluing the kit on. This is how it should look like with the kit.

The back of the gun.

The front. If you noticed, i cut off that annoying green piece that really sticks out like a sore thumb. Cut off, sanded the front and epoxy glued the kit on.

Spray painted with a layer of Glossy Gray, so if scratches happen, it gives the illusion of a metal underneath.

Sprayed 2 layers of Flat Black spray paint.

I spy the Colonel! XD
Pew! Pew! Accuracy -10%!
thats why u spray it XD
I think maybe they meant "accuracy -10" because Stormtroopers are notoriously terrible at hitting their target. That's what I thought, anyway.... through it should probably be more like -50%, at least!
that's why i spray .. then if someone gets shot, i'd laugh at them for their awesomeness!
Nice idea spraying it with a grey base before applying the black paint.
I wonder how that works with chrome-type paint underneath.
Where did you buy the resin and the thing you use to remove the holes?
As stated in picture, i filled the holes with Selley's Bondo, paint filler? Meant to patch up cracks and holes when drilling into walls and etc.
The resin kit is made in the UK, called Doopy Doos.
Thanks. You did a very good and very convincing job of making your E-11.
