Saber Swimsuit

Posted by Ultimaknight [www]

Following the "Vintage Figure" topic trend, thought I would share one of my favorite older figures. I actually think that this Saber figure was my first Alter figure, and I absolutely love her. There have been a few figures released of Saber in her white swimsuit, but this is by far my favorite. I simply love the curves on her!

You're right, her curves look very nice, like how a real girl's curves would be, unlike *cough*Queen's Blade*cough*.

...I don't recall her eyes being so huge. I'm not saying it's not a nice figure, but they're, just, big.

I always want to own this figure, until I learned of some leaning problems.

Too bad Fate Stay Night didn't get a beach/pool episode.

Can't say I have experienced any leaning issues with this one.

I think it's really a base design problem more than anything. Her pose puts so much stress on the back peg of her right foot that it can break rather easily(as mine did.) I had to put a short screw into mine to keep her stable. Alter really should have used screws to hold her to the base like with their Sakura.

That happened to the one I gave my boyfriend also. Unfortunately he hasn't fixed the base yet so she is in her box. One short screw going into her ankle through the base will work? Lol, sounds scary. I don't think I can watch.

It seems to have done the trick. Just go slow and make sure not to go any further than what the screw requires.

Thank you, I will pass on the info and hopefully saber can come out of her box.
