Emma (Max factory)
In all honesty I’m SHOCKED that there is a figure of Emma, she is probably my most unique figure. Why? Because she is my only full scaled figure of a (romance) shoujo heroine! The rarest of all types of figures, far rarer than figures of men by far. Sigh…what I wouldn’t give for more figures of my favorite shoujo heroines! I’d gladly drop quite a bit of money on a figure of Kyoko (Skip Beat!). BUT I like this figure, it’s a great size and it’s great Max Factory quality. But because of how conservative (and elegant) this figure is, it’s probably only for those that have a huge maid obsession, or just simply love Emma. I’m very happy with this figure and it was one of the more difficult figures for me to track down from my collection. My only complaint is that the glasses are hard to get on straight. I thought I had succeeded at getting them on straight, but when reviewing these images I realized I failed.

I love the traditional maid outfit she's sporting, it's not every day you see a maid figure going the long dress route. Nice photos and great background choice too
Yeah, unless you're a fan of Emma you would think this figure is very plain looking. None of the characters are sexualized. However, I think Adele in the manga is hot. I'm curious how she would look in figure form.

I'd say Emma's a refreshing sight :)
Oh yah, is her bloomers present underneath that long skirt or is it just like a big PVC block?
Yeah...I need this figure in a pretty serious way. I absolutely LOVED the anime and manga. Really happy they chose to serialize the "after stories," in the Emma manga.
But that's amazing! And I'm totally envious that you managed to score a rare and certainly gorgeous figure. Emma is really a jewel of a character, and it warms my heart to see a very nice figure of her.
I wonder if I should ever attempt to cosplay her.
I've always loved this figure because Emma looks so elegant and beautiful as a maid.
I'm glad for you. Congratulations^^.
wow....strangely there is something about the face that is very soothing to look at @_@
I cried so much when I tried to look for her and couldn't find her. I don't want to drop $400 on her either, so she'll be one of those figures I regret not ordering (to be fair to myself I didn't know about "Emma" until I found it licensed)
I had been watching an Emma figure on ebay for quite some time listed at $124.99. It seemed high to me, but I've realized after long searches for her and other desired figures, that it is the lowest market price now. Based on my tax return, I finally bought it this morning. There is another one still listed at $189 +SH and it may well be the last one to be found unless it shows up on the Japanese auctions or here. Good luck.
I agree with pauldy (above). The modest Victorian maid outfit was actually utilitarian based on the English climate and the structure of estate homes of the period. Cool weather much of the year would make the layered costume warm although somewhat heavy. Emma's hairstyle would be in keeping with the necessity to keep it neatly out of the way. What this does now is draw attention to the the only exposed anatomy: the hands and the face. Max Factory did a great job.
