Kaneda!!!! Tetsuo!!!!! AKIRA!!!!!

When Project BM! (or is it BM! Project?) said they were coming out with a 1/6 scale version of Kaneda's Bike, I told myself I was gonna get it no matter the price. But when the price-doesn't-matter was $400+, I began to have second thoughts.
Eventually, I caved and got it. The main thing that made me pull the trigger was the fact that the first production run would be coming with an extra set of cowling(s) and decals. The bike also lights up in a whole bunch of places, and even has special fx as well!
So, here are the first bunch of pics I've taken. Will post more later.

Dayum!! $400 is a bit steep, but I'd get it...... the movie was/is excellent enough to justify that much.....

I really only remember the fight between Kaneda and some kind of tank on what looked like a mass driver.

It looks beautiful when lit up. Are you ordering the Kaneda figure as well? I just ordered mine, but I wish he didn't have that sh1t eating grin because at that point, there was nothing to smile about.
that model alone is worth 400 to just look at. Akira is still one of the best.

That bike is still the best looking one I've ever seen - from real life or any movie. I'm no fan of the movie but that's another story, the bike is great. Congrats!
Looks nice, but needs a lot more decals for authenticity - for such a pricey product I'm surprised it's not more accurate.
I do have the plain cowling with the 2 sets of decals....I'm 99% sure I'm gonna use my own, though.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!! That would have killed the back burner big time but I want that bike. I ordered Tetsuo because he just looks bad ass!!!!!!! I just have so much on pre order this month I think I will have to give kaneda a miss and without that bike he will just be so lonely...
