So the Beautiful World
Kino is a character I've always been fascinated with, and I now have the privilege of adopting her! It all started when I stumbled upon a miniature revolver listed at an online auction, then was able to match it up with the exact model of Kino's revolver, a Colt Navy 1851. And this is the result:
I am at 85% Completion with this set.

The gun is made by a company called Marx, which has long been out of business, today their cap guns can be found on eBay.

This specialized action stand was made using loc-line, will post a more in-depth description of it later. But the joints are strong enough to hold most DD bodies with accessories.

Very nice, I like!
Glad you like her!
The finish on this part has worn down over time, gonna see if I can re-finish it
Holster also made by Marx, designed for this particular gun. I was pretty surprised on how it just fits right on the volks Belt.
Cool! looks alot like her so far :D
Lovely Kino, very nice replication of her look.
Thanks! She is actually based off the work in the original artbook. The anime design for her outfit and hair are a bit different.
Gorgeous outfit!
Thanks! Still need to put the hat together
Very awesome...not familiar with this story but you've got me curious now. Always nice to see what kind of characters a Yukino can convincingly cosplay.
Kino No Tabi is a very different kind of anime, I think it's a refreshing deviation from the norm. You might find the DVD bargain set at Best Buy. Highly reccomend you give it a try!
nice :>
nice poses and outfit! It's always nice to be able to put something close to what you like together :D
Thanks! Although it's a bit weird moving the arms with 3 layers of garment
I can't wait to see the finished Kino ^^
Looks great - love the shot of her leaning back and fanning the hammer on the gun.
Yep, Single action all the way!
Wow!!! I always want to see a Kino Dollfie!
Very nice indeed.
Nice doll! I love Kino too! Although I think your Kino is a bit of a spoiler in herself, as one big surprise when watching the anime for me was to find out Kino is in fact a girl! Your Kino definitely looks more feminine, which is nice though.
LOL I almost considered doing the conceptual "older kino" where she has long hair etc, but yeah it is kind of a spoiler!
Nicely done!!. I have the same duster, yet my pistol is a replica of an 1861 Colt Army .44 black powder revolver... It's quite fun to shoot... (btw, you're right, those are very hard to find in that scale anymore...)
Nice! I've got an 1851 Navy myself, but haven't fired it yet. If you look around, you can find some Marx and Dong San guns in the proper scale for your girls.

Also scroll down for the doll shots.
I might think of buying the option neck joint from Natalie at Dollfie World so she can fire from the prone position!
