First Dollfie: Yui!

After several years of resisting the Dollfie charm, I have finally succumbed. Today, I received my first Dollfie: Hirasawa Yui DD!
She's absolutely lovely! ^^

Yahoo Japan Auctions. I actually won the bid about 2 weeks ago, but going through the deputy service and getting her to me took a while ^^;

Cool. Though I have no idea how difficult it is to find character DDs after they've been released. My impression is that it is not easy >_<

I loved my Azone Yui so DD Yui was the natural choice for my first DD. Not disappointed either :D

Thanks ^^. It was raining out so the pics are indoors using some lighting equipment I use for PVC figures. It's supposed to be nice the rest of this week so hopefully I can get some outdoor photos of Yui ^^

Well, she was pricey but it's possible! I had to cut back on a lot of PVC figure purchases, sold my Figma and some other items, and just saved in general. You can do it!

Sadly, I won't be getting the K-ON Nendoroid or Figma. Or PVC figures. They were all cut in order for me to acquire this DD ^^;

Congrats on the adoption. DO like Yui's facial sculpt better than that of Mio. DOllfie Mio's face doesn't look very versatile and like her expression may tire quickly.
Hadn't paid attention before to any comparison shots between a Dollfie Dream and an Azone but the size difference is quite impressive!

Congrats on your Yui. I haven't made the full sized DD purchase yet but I'm sure one is in my near future. I do have the Azone Mio figure :D After seeing your pictures I was thinking I should get DD Yui and have her hold Azone Mio like her own doll.
heehee, yeah, the Azone girls are kind of like dolls made for DDs xD. I will take more pics of them together :)
Congratulations! I should warn you that I went from 1 DD to 3 DDs in one month . . . and I have no regrets.

im newbie in DD, plan to get mine soon, just wanna ask, the DD can stand up without using any stand?is it very easy to change the wig, eye, and upper body part?
Yui looks fantastic... Volks did a SUPERB job on her. Just beautiful. I'm so tempted to make her my first Dollfie too... I'm not ready to take the plunge just yet though! Very cute, great get!
