Finally got my first guitar this tuesday after waiting a couple months. K-ON season 2 and my guitar in one day, what could be better? It's an Epiphone Les Paul 1959 Limited Edition. This one is number 539 out of 1959 guitars.
Note this isn't a gibson so it doesn't cost $2500/ 250000 yen. Compared to that, this guitar costs only $900.
Comes with a neat hard case. Really heavy though.

People say the Epi headstock looks stupid, but I actually prefer it over the Gibson headstock.
Little certificate that tells me which number this guitar is out of the 1959.

Looks really nice, I almost bought the standard Epiphone version of this guitar last year.
K-On!'s season two is making want to buy it again.
That is a SWEET axe.
Maybe I should show off my purple Fender Squier Strat. Maybe not as impressive as a limited edition Epi Les Paul, but it gets the job done. My Obitsu boy Zetto has a 1/3 scale Slash's Snakepit Les Paul. Unlike the Volks Les Paul that comes with that K-On! Dollfie it didn't come with a gig bag or a case. So I still want to get one of those.

none, I got inspired by a friend and k-on just happened to be there.

I just hope you didn't buy this out of influence from K-on. And much like koganinjastyle said, don't pick a guitar for it's looks.
The 1959 is about $5,000 IIRC... I hope you bought this because you have a genuine passion for playing. I have friends who are accomplished players who dream of having this gear. And this is your first you say?
actually this is an epiphone reissue. not one of the originals by gibson, it costs about $900
I love Les Pauls, but I really hope you didn't just go out and buy this without trying a whole bunch of guitars just because it's in K-ON! Different styles of guitar have very different feels, and getting the "wrong" one for you could have a huge impact on your playing. Not to mention the different sounds output by different models.
Really nice purchase, but I hope you got it after trialling plenty of guitars or it might not be so nice in the long run.
