TerminExia

Despite Celestial Being's defeat, Exia still roams around, making the A-LAWS shudder in fear by remembering the word Gundam and with it did to the world...

This is one kickass model which I decided to build directly to its busted up mode, using the Tamiya weathering sets C and D to detail it. Pretty neat I think as I am extremely pleased with the result. This model has some faults (mostly the legs regarding balance problems) but the overall look is more than enough to make up for them.

Feel free to visit my blog for more pics of this baby.

There are a few issues with design accuracy (i.e. GN condensers on the knees should be absent, as well as beam daggers, the yellow fin on the right shoulder, GN sword should have the white cover, etc.), but I'm very impressed with the effect of weathering. I got the Ignition mode just because the Exia RE looks really badass.

I took some creative liberties and did not follow completely the Exia Repair look. The most distinctive is the inclusion of the dagger (to make it not so defenseless) and ignoring the white piece that covers the shield of the GN Sword, why cover those components when you can accentuate even more the "damaged" look?

GJ on the weathering, although some parts are too dirty considering Exia was hiding in space after season 1 entire time.

Hmm... Since you didn't take out the GN condensers on the legs, why not try cracking them or chiseling in some damage on the orbs? Worked for me.
