Built completely OOB. The client requested heavy weathering. I used military colors close to the stock colors to make it look more realistic and added graffiti for fun.

mr pain kill'ah XD
if only people in zeon use english LOL
question:
where'd you learn how to weather? (in what forum/site? :P)
Lolwut?!
Principality of Zeon is in English.. I'm not sure what other English you are looking for?
LOL well what language do you think the zeon spoke varutieru?
when you find out, let us know aye :)
all country in gundam speak japanese :P
that is 1 rule that never change, ever
never seen a gundam series with arabic/english/chinese/indian/other language for other meaning to communicate
like when they hissing something on someone nearby
That's because the market they are aiming for is in Japan.. And uh, the language is Japanese
Both from the internet and my scale modeller friends. I started out in armorama.com, missing-lynx.com, and other various military modelling sites. They all have extensive articles on how to do weathering, diorama making, painting. and other stuff you'll want to learn. You don't even have to ask around, just read the different articles and build logs in the forums. That's how much info they have. Then I joined the local IPMS branch a couple of years into this hobby. Well, let's just say that there's no better way to learn than actually talking to the person while he/she's showing you the process.
mr pain killer huh . Like that . Ok who need aspirin now?
Mr. Aspirin =)
That's pretty impressive. Weathering has always been really difficult for me, and yours looks great. Less is more right?
Thanks! I actually went a bit overboard with this. Imagine those paint chippings in full scale. They would be so big that the pilot will probably be smacked hard on the head by the crew chief for ruining the mech XD
Great work and weathering... I love this touch.
Very very impressive work.. Tried to weather my Zaku II but the results aren't as impressive xD
Excellent job! I love the weathering. Very cool addition of the skull painted on the shoulder.
Awesome job ! I seriously want to learn how to weather.
Mad zaku II, love what you did to it all from the weathering to the personal detailing like the skulls emblem. i definately need to learn these things for my zaku II xD
You sir, are brilliant.
Made me realize that IRL pilots really do this things with their machines i.e. nicknames.
As been stated, the weathering is superb.
I should really hang-out more at mechapinoy XD
I tip my hat to you sir. You've got the weathering down to a science.
Awesome work! I need to learn this.
Thanks guys! I'm glad you all like it.
I think all the previous posts said it all...... Very Well Done, Sir!!....three thumbs up!! (my other foot is being used to hold a beer, otherwise.....)
o.O
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww he's so awesome!!!!!! Reminds me of my Sniper Zaku!! Only this is soooooo much more awesome. Reminds me I need to finish my MG Zaku v2 really... I've been neglecting him...
ZOMG.. It's Karl! Appreciate the work 'kabayan'
Reason why it's so awesome xD
That is sick ^_^ I love that touch.
Excellent job ^_^ That is an awesome personalized touch to your Zaku II. I need to get a Zaku two Zaku II's and deck one out in flecktarn ^_^ I will definately check out those links for modelling tips. Awesome job....I am just in shock at how awesome that Zaku looks.
Thanks again guys! ^__^
Mr. Pain Killer, as in Mr. Painful Killer? Very nice work here, Karl. The weathering is also very good.
As in Mr. Pain Killer will take your pain away by ending your suffering >:-D
