Ryu Meifen is one of five "Shuraki Trinity" figures project, BOX-02. It was a project between Good Smile Company and Red Company, who has allowed to create five figures (normally, two others must be realized). Ryu's seiyuu was Iizuka Mayumi. Each figure comes with a drama CDs, a “Secret File” and a damaged clothes.

Ryu is my second favorite Shuraki figure (I prefer Char Rhousemann for her beautiful hair). She was my first pre-order too. More pictures on Shadonia.

    I also think that Char is the favorite one between fans of this figure series but, you know, for my taste MY favorite is not other than Nida Shuetlich that is, if fact, the only one figure that I own from this series.

    And talking about Meifen Ryu, this is a beautiful figure and keeps the quality of the others.
    I personally like more the torn outfit ^^.

    Quite a great figure. Congratulations!

    Nice shots :) I really like the sort of background u used for these photos.

    I also have this, one of my all time favorite figures.

    Lol I still remember getting the courier pick up card for this when my parcel arrived, because I almost didnt make it to the door on time and the courier guy left me one. It said mine arrived at 18th august 2008, 8:08am XD;

      Just to add. This figure is one heck of a tough cast off tho, I've only tried it once and I figure I'd just let it be after that @o@;

      One thing I absolutely love about this model is how there is a metal beam support along her leg. Thats just perfect, she wont be leaning over due to unbalance weight. More figures should have that sorta thing imo.

    A nice and now very rare fig....But how is the support/leaning on her? Since my Fauna broke I'm not too keen on one-foot-figures anymore ^^;

      There is a metal rod that sticks out under Meifeng's right foot. The rod slides into the base neatly and holds up the figure well. I've had Meifeng since release and there is no sign of leaning. If anything, the only issue I have is the difficulty in the cast-off feature (specifically, in putting her clothes back on). GSC online shop still has Meifeng for sale (http://goodsmile.ri.shopserve.jp/SHOP/G96277.html ).

    Shuraki figures were really popular last year. I've had some difficulty in securing my pre-orders, which include checking HobbySearch website religiously to snag a Shuraki #3 Char. It became available when someone else canceled his preorder, so it was quite a stroke of luck.

    I remembering there were plans for more Shuraki figures. The sketches I saw seems to have disappeared from Red Entertainment's website (http://www.shuraki.jp/index.html ). There's a picture of Shuraki #6 Monica design at AkibaHobby (

    That is a very nice figure! I got one too, and so far have already Nida, Akatsuki, and Rize. I recently bought a Char on ebay for a decent price ( yes it's true, it exists!) and the seller has more of it if you guys are interested. She is mis-labeled thats why you cant easily find her. I'll let you guys know when Char arrives and see the quality of service and condition of the figure.

    Looks cute. I think that she looks best with her undamaged clothes.
